Since my friend is reading SoC for the first time, thought I'd write some new headcanons!

• Joost is reincarnated as Isaac from KoS (they just have similar personalities in my mind)

• Inej has a (unoffical) pet crow. She named it Kaz, and she keeps trying to sic it on Kaz whenever she annoys her (it never works)

• Kaz keeps "joking" about killing "that bird", but he thinks it's cute how Inej keeps trying to train it to do tricks

• Wylan wears glasses that are way to big for his face

• Wylan published a book about his adventures w the Crows (with anecdotes from Jesper, ofc)

• Kuwei obsessively writes Jesper fanfic

• Kuwei heard about Wylan's book and wrote his own (from his own perspective, where almost everything is inaccurate)

• Wylan taught Jesper to play piano

• Jesper is terrible at it, but Wylan says nothing

• Nina develops a craving for fish after parem

• Everyone complains about the smell

Nikolai x Zoya: 1000/10 Yes yes yes! I love this ship. The witty banter is my favorite.

Leoni x Adrik: 11/10 Their opposites-attract personalities totally match.

Nadia x Tamar: 25/10 They have so many cute moments!

Nina x Hanne: 8/10 I do ship them, but it felt kinda forced. But I do like that Hanne sort of "cured" Nina's loneliness and depression about Matthias, and I adore Nina's descriptions of Hanne ("she was glorious" is my favorite one)

David x Genya: 3/10 Errrr....cute, but they didn't feel like they worked together. They were just...so different! Ik I said that's why Leoni and Adrik work, but David and Genya are just different in a different way, if that makes sense. But I do respect the ship and the love between them, even though I don't understand how that love is even there

Mayu x Isaak: 8/10 Don't really have an opinion for this one. It's just...okay

BEWARE SPOILERS!!!

• Ik Kaz said there was nothing in the field where he had supposedly buried Rollin's son, but just imagine this. Pekka finds the black flag and frantically starts digging. He reaches the bottom of the hole and finds...a homemade sign (by Jesper) that says "U SUCK!" with a lil' smiley face :)

• After Wylan and Jesper kiss, and Jesper says "I hope we don't die", Wylan leans his head against Jesper's chest and chuckles. Jesper wraps his arms around Wylan and wonders if he's ever been this happy

• Zoya and Nikolai definitely exchanged witty banter about Ketterdam. Nikolai called Ketterdam charming, while Zoya complained about the smell. Genya complained about both of them.

• Kaz was internally freaking out when he went to meet Inej's parents. Inej sees how nervous he is and thinks it's cute, so she introduces Kaz by saying "this is the man who saved my life". Her parent's adored reactions instantly make Kaz feel better about all the coldness he had shown Inej in the past

Kaz: *is the most dangerous man in Ketterdam, kills people in brutal ways, very few people aren't afraid of him*

Also Kaz: *touches human skin* Ohh God the horror!!! I think I'm dying! Am I dying??? I'm dying!

All the Crows: Here we go again...
