Alby Rollins is the young son of Pekka Rollins.
Biography[]
Alby stays in his father's large estate in Appelbroek, protected by guards and cared for by a nanny. He detests taking piano lessons and deliberately cuts one of the piano wires to avoid them. Alby comes upon Jesper Fahey and Wylan Hendriks, who had broken into the estate in order to learn more about Pekka. They pose as Hoppe and Sons technicians who were sent by Mr. Rollins to fix the piano. Once Jesper fixes the wire, Alby heads over to the piano and plays a series of discordant notes. Wylan then goes to the piano himself and demonstrates his own piece.[1]
Upon learning of Alby, Kaz Brekker tells Pekka that he buried his son alive. Pekka goes to the Black Veil Cemetery, having begged for Kaz to give him a location, and digs desperately in the earth. However, the stadwatch soon arrive and arrest him for having killed Tante Heleen earlier. As Pekka is taken away, Alby appears in a carriage and calls for his father, never having been buried at all.[2]
