Physical description[]

Droessen's appearance was designed to attract customers and enhance his reputation. He cut his hair into a long, fashionable style, made himself a set of even white teeth, and wore a smart velvet coat. In order to correct his stoop, Droessen wore a painful brace and padded the shoulders of his jackets to evoke the upright bearing of a soldier. He had nimble white fingers and pale blue eyes. He had a smooth voice and smelled of tobacco and linseed oil.

When the nutcracker caused him to transform, Droessen became a small wooden doll with an angry face. He wore a smartly-cut velvet coat and had pale blue eyes.

Skills and abilities[]

Droessen was rumored to be a Fabrikator. He could create clockworks and mechanicals that influenced the world around them, and created the sentient nutcracker.
