Elise is Geels' girlfriend.
Biography[]
Elise lives on the third floor of Nineteen Burstraat in Ketterdam. At some point, she became romantically involved with Black Tips lieutenant Geels, and Kaz Brekker learned about her for possible leverage against the gang member.[1]
Six of Crows[]
Kaz mentions Elise to Geels after hearing a siren during their meeting at the Exchange. When he tells him Elise's address, Geels freezes. Kaz bluffs, saying that there are two Dregs members waiting outside her door as they speak, waiting to set the place on fire if Kaz doesn't return satisfied. This leads to Geels standing down and coming off worse in the negotiation, unware that Kaz was lying about Elise being in danger.[1]
