Early life[]
At some point, he joined the First Army and became a general.
King of Scars[]
Pensky is the First Army general Zoya Nazyalensky dealt with the most. Since Zoya already sent him two troop requests in the past month, she decided it would be best that the requisition for more soldiers at Arkesk for lookouts would come from Nikolai Lantsov, who tells Zoya he will send Pensky a letter.[2]
Rule of Wolves[]
When then-queen Makhi Kir-Taban arrived in Poliznaya, it was General Pensky who greeted her and her large retinue in full military dress. His soldiers then escorted them to Os Alta.[3] Later, Pensky sends out First Army troops to dig trenches with the intent of stopping Fjerdan tanks and protecting Ravka's rocket launch platforms.[4]
He supports Zoya publicly when Nikolai proposes that Zoya be the new Queen of Ravka. She gives him a short nod in gratitude.[5]
Physical description[]
General Pensky is around 42 or 43 years old and has a white mustache that Nikolai describes as "effusive" and "voluminous".[1]
