Mikka was a Grisha Tidemaker. He was indentured to Jan Van Eck, who used him as a test subject to discover the effects of jurda parem on Grisha of different orders.

Mikka ambushes Kaz Brekker in an alley and drugs him into unconsciousness in order to bring him to Jan Van Eck, who is at Councilman Hoede's house. Mikka is able to walk through walls because of jurda parem, and Van Eck uses him to first demonstrate the effects of parem to Kaz.[1]
Physical description[]
Mikka wore an embroidered blue Grisha Tidemaker's kefta with a red and gold ribbon at the lapel indicating his association with Van Eck's house. Due to the effects of jurda parem, Mikka was as pale as a corpse, with dark hollows beneath his eyes and the fragile, trembling build of someone who had missed several meals but didn't seem to care.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
Under the influence of jurda parem, Mikka is able to walk through walls by altering his own state of matter from solid to gas.[1]
