Minister Nagh is a minister for the Taban queens.
Biography[]
Nagh is one of the ministers that stands before Makhi Kir-Taban in the council chamber after she receives a wedding invitation from Nikolai Lantsov. Believing the wedding to be between Nikolai and Ehri Kir-Taban, Nagh is hopeful that the wedding will seal the alliance between Ravka and Shu Han. He expresses approval when Makhi decides to write a reply herself.[1]
Tamar Kir-Bataar's spies later contact Nagh and Minister Zihun. Tamar and Ehri meet the ministers in the Temple of Neyar, and Nagh is enraged at seeing the former, who is a soldier from Ravka's First Army. However, Ehri convinces Nagh and Zihun to listen to her story. Once they learn of how Makhi deceived her, the ministers apologize and bow to the princess. They continue to pledge their loyalty as they depart.
When Ehri returns to the palace, Nagh and Zihun organize a private meeting between her and Makhi, telling Minister Yerwei that the chamber he intended to use for them has been flooded.[2] Nagh and Zihun are later given a copy of Yerwei's confession stating that Keyen Kir-Taban wanted Ehri to be queen, not Makhi, although the ministers are unaware of the sealed document's contents.[3]
Physical description[]
Nagh wears a dark green, brass-buttoned coat with the two crossed keys of Shu Han at his lapel, the same outfit worn by all Shu ministers.[1]
