Shadow and Bone[]
The Darkling has a Durast named David Kostyk create the amplifier that Alina Starkov wears around her neck. The amplifier was made from the antlers of Morozova's stag, fused together in a circle so that they can not be broken or removed. The Darkling does this to Alina so he can expand the Shadow Fold and they can be connected. Through the collar, the Darkling is able to command her light at his own will.[1]
After Malyen Oretsev sacrifices himself to further amplify Alina's power and the Fold begins to unravel, the collar falls away in pieces.[2]

Kirigan makes the collar for Alina, and it is shown physically embedded in Alina's body.[3]
Description[]
Morozova's collar is made out of two curving pieces of antler, molded together without a clasp or hinge. The antlers are silver and both end in double prongs of similar size.[1]
