Muzzen was a member of the Dregs, a bouncer and an enforcer at the Crow Club.
Biography[]
Muzzen is one of the Dregs who gathers at the eastern entrance to the Exchange while Kaz Brekker parleys with Geels from the Black Tips.[1]
Dressed as the Komedie Brute's Madman, Muzzen rows a rowboat carrying Kaz and Nina Zenik to Hellgate on the night of the Hellshow. Muzzen avidly watches the fights and speculates on the outcome. In Matthias Helvar's cell, Nina tailors Muzzen to look like Matthias, complete with the injuries Matthias sustains in his Hellshow fight with the wolves. Nina also makes it look like Muzzen has firepox; Kaz's contact in the prison infirmary would maintain the ruse and keep Muzzen away from the other prisoners. Muzzen takes Matthias' place in Hellgate for the duration of Kaz's Ice Court heist because the "money was good."[2]
Muzzen was killed in Hellgate by a drüskelle who had come for Matthias.[3]
Personality and traits[]
Muzzen was happy-go-lucky, humming as he worked and enthusiastically watching the Hellshow. Like many people in the Barrel, he was willing to do almost anything for money.[2]

Muzzen was tall, with huge shoulders—the same height and build as Matthias Helvar.[2]
