When Alina Starkov confronts Genya Safin about the destruction of Novokribirsk, Genya informs her that thirty or forty people died on the sandskiff due to Alina's own actions. Nathalia was one of the few who escaped (alongside the Darkling, Ivan, two Inferni, and several First Army soldiers), but she died of her injuries a few days later.[1]
