Biography

Siege and Storm

When Grisha arrive at the Little Palace, asking to see Alina Starkov, Nevsky orders one of them to show Nikolai Lantsov more respect. Nikolai agrees with him, saying that they should have been more loyal to the King.

Ruin and Rising

Nevsky unloads cargo in the hangar of the Spinning Wheel. Malyen Oretsev later works with him to see to his and Alina's sleeping arrangements. Nevsky also claims that many people are traveling through Ravka's border cities, trying to leave the country before the winter.

As the Spinning Wheel is attacked by the Darkling and his nichevo'ya, Nevsky stands on the deck of the Bittern. He signals for the other soldiers to open fire, but as Zoya Nazyalensky and Nadia Zhabin attempt to raise the ship, they realize that it has too much weight to fly. Nevsky immediately leads the other soldiers off the Bittern. He dies in the ensuing battle, sacrificing himself so the others can get to safety.
