Biography[]
Siege and Storm[]
After Zoya Nazyalensky says that the Etherealki will all follow Alina Starkov's leadership in the Second Army, Pavel steps forward and speaks out against Alina.[1] He also protests Alina's desires for the Materialki to begin combat training.[2] Pavel is skeptical about the Apparat not contacting Alina,[3] and about the Second Army being able to fight the nichevo'ya.
Later, he spars with Malyen Oretsev in a small training room.[4]
Physical description[]
Pavel is dark-skinned, with narrow features and a chipped tooth.[3] He has a faint scar high on his left cheek.[1]
