Roeder is a member of the Dregs. He is one of the gang's spiders, and is loyal to Kaz Brekker.

Roeder is mentioned when Per Haskell tells Kaz to use Roeder as his spider while Haskell uses Inej Ghafa for a job.[1]
Like the other kids Kaz brought into the gang, Roeder disapproves of Haskell and the Dregs betraying Kaz in favor of the reward from Pekka Rollins and Jan Van Eck. Roeder hangs back with Anika, Pim, and Keeg and unhappily watches the Dregs beat up Kaz at the Slat.[2]
After Kaz overthrows Haskell, Roeder puts together a report on the Van Ecks. According to Pim, Roeder wants to be Kaz's new spider, but Kaz declines, saying that he does not need a new one.[3] However, Inej Ghafa is willing to share some of her routes and hiding spots with Roeder.[4]
