Sankt Petyr is the patron saint of archers.

Biography[]

Petyr and his brother learned old sea shanties from their father. His brother was crushed by the wheel of a horse cart before he turned twenty. Petyr became a priest.

Petyr was assigned to the village of Brevno after the previous priest accidentally released a demon and ran away. The demon took up residence in the nearby lake, terrorizing Brevno and luring its inhabitants to their deaths. Petyr had the townsmen prepare flaming arrows, then walked to the lake. By reciting the Sikurian Psalms, he prevented the demon from seducing him with the words of his dead brother. Petyr pretended to be lured by the demon and when it emerged from the lake, he grabbed the demon and held it out of the water. The villagers of Brevno fired their flaming arrows, killing both the demon and Petyr.

Personality and traits[]

Petyr was a devout believer in the Saints.[1] He was unafraid first to approach the demon, then to sacrifice his own life so the demon could be killed. Sankt Petyr was renowned for his bravery.[2]
