The Ulle was the rich chieftain of a Grisha camp near the Fjerdan border.
Biography[]
The Ulle had seen combat with the drüskelle, and at some point was made chieftain. He welcomed Lena and Eryk to his camp and led them to a warm hut. The Ulle demanded that the other elders allow Lena to join their meeting, although they objected. At dinner, Lena sat beside him.
After Eryk was found injured next to the lake, near the severed bodies of the Ulle's son, Lev, and another girl, Annika, the Ulle burned down the village that he believed had attacked the kids. Every last resident was killed. He then decided that they leave the camp to escape punishment for what they had done.[1]
Physical description[]
The Ulle had a red-gold beard and hair plaited past his shoulders. He was "a giant of a man" and wore black furs. His hands were callused, and he walked with a limp.[1]
